These are a series of photographs depicting the astronaut character as

having fallen from the sky in front of abandoned businesses and retail

locations. The intention is to highlight the abandoned retail spaces as being

interlocked with the idea of the death of the archetypal astronaut as now

folks are able to purchase a ticket to space and become an “Astronaut”

where previously it was a merit-based system.
